20 sets 56 stamps Used CTO
Fine collections of 20 sets from the Vietnam War, issued by North Vietnamn 1965-76. A total of 56 different stamps with a Scott Net retail of US$ 59+. With many dramatic propaganda designs, burning US planes down in flames,. MIG fighter, transports going south, US POW pilot, ground battle, 2500 US planes shot down, demonstrations, arrmed peasants. Innocent looking designs reveal at closer look dramatic details. A true document from this era. Composition may vary slightly
Most unusual and rare
Sheet layout clearly shows how ineffective the use of paper (sometimes) was. Cpl set of 3 in full sheets , 2 values is sheet of 100, 1 value is 2x sheet of 50. Postmarked HANOI 2 9 59 = First Day Of Issue, rare.
